Crypto withdrawals: the wait broken into three parts

A crypto withdrawal has three waiting times: the casino's review, the network and your receiving wallet. The network can be calculated; the review cannot. Here is what you can influence. Disclosure: KryptoTresen earns a commission when you sign up at partner casinos such as RooRoll through our links. It costs you nothing extra.

Why "instant withdrawal" is a marketing phrase

Casinos promise payouts in minutes. In reality the time until the credit is made up of three stretches: the casino's processing, the time on the network, and the time your receiver takes to treat the funds as available (an exchange may require a number of confirmations). Only the network part is a technical quantity. The rest depends on people, review rules and queues.

RooRoll names USDT, Bitcoin and Ethereum for crypto payments. We give no processing time because we cannot prove one; it is described in the withdrawal terms at RooRoll.

How to shorten the wait

  1. Verify before your first winHave identity documents ready if the casino asks for them.
  2. Use the same methodWithdrawals often run the same way as deposits. Check the cashier.
  3. Check the address twiceCompare the start and end of the target address and the chosen network.
  4. Withdraw a small amount firstOn the first time a test amount pays off.
  5. Plan with a bufferIf you need the money by a date, withdraw early.

Common mistakes

Wrong network for USDT, wrong address, a memo or tag forgotten (some networks need one), a fee set too low so the transaction hangs. Add price risk: if you withdraw in Bitcoin or Ethereum, you carry the rate between request and credit. A stablecoin such as USDT dampens that.

From a player-protection point of view, a fast withdrawal is not a reason to play more. Set a win goal and a loss limit in advance.

Example: a withdrawal on the clock

Say you withdraw Bitcoin after a win and your exchange asks for six confirmations. The phases add up: first the casino reviews your request (duration per its terms), then the network time starts with a 10-minute target block spacing. Six confirmations are about an hour on average, though in practice sooner or later. Only after that does the exchange credit you. With Ethereum the same sum looks very different, as a slot is only 12 seconds. Do not take the shortest figure in the table as your expectation; add the phases, above all the casino review.

Withdrawal questions

How long does a RooRoll withdrawal take?

We give no figure. Processing is described in RooRoll's withdrawal terms.

Is a crypto withdrawal faster than to a card?

The network part can be short; the casino review remains. We cannot prove a blanket yes.

Do I need to verify my account?

That is the casino's decision; RooRoll's terms state the requirements.

Why has my exchange not credited the money?

Often confirmations are missing or the network is wrong. Check the transaction ID in a block explorer.
