Tether (USDT) casino: the network matters more than the coin

USDT keeps its dollar value, but Tether runs on many blockchains and the wrong one can cost you your money. RooRoll names a crypto welcome bonus of 200% up to $3,000 in USDT. Disclosure: KryptoTresen earns a commission when you sign up at partner casinos such as RooRoll through our links. It costs you nothing extra.

Updated:

USDT: one coin, many networks

Tether lists the blockchains on which USDT is currently issued on its Supported Protocols page, including Ethereum (ERC20), Tron (TRC20), Solana, Avalanche, Near, Ton, Tezos, Polkadot AssetHub, Aptos and Liquid. The same coin therefore exists several times, with its own address format, fee and speed. There is no single "USDT fee"; the network decides.

That means the network you send on must exactly match the network of the deposit address. Which networks RooRoll offers is something the cashier shows; we do not list them because we cannot confirm the selection.

USDT: pros and cons

Pros

  • Pegged to the US dollar, so no Bitcoin-style swings
  • Several networks to choose from, including cheap ones
  • Named for the crypto bonus at RooRoll

Cons

  • The wrong network can lose you the money
  • You depend on the issuer, Tether
  • The Canadian-dollar value still moves a little against the US dollar

Deposit USDT safely

  1. Read the network in the cashierNote which network the deposit address belongs to.
  2. Match it on the sending sideChoose exactly the same network at your exchange or wallet.
  3. Send a testSend a small amount first and wait for the credit.
  4. Then the restOnly after the test arrives.

What "stable" really means

A stablecoin aims to hold its dollar value. That is the issuer's goal, not a guarantee. If you hold Canadian dollars, you still carry an exchange-rate risk each time you swap into USDT and back. Over short periods it is small, but not zero. For small play budgets that is a reasonable trade-off; for large sums it is one to make deliberately.

Sources and retrieval date

We retrieved every network figure on this page on 5 November 2026 from the sources below. We do not quote network fees in Canadian dollars because they move with the coin price and network load.

An example of choosing a network

You want to deposit 100 USDT. The cashier offers two networks. Your exchange supports both, with different withdrawal fees. You choose the one with the lower fee, copy the matching address and first send 20 USDT as a test. When it arrives, you send the rest. If your exchange lacks one of the networks, you use the other. There are no more options, but there is more peace of mind.

The same logic holds for any amount: a test costs one extra fee, and a wrong-network mistake can cost everything.

Memos, tags and fine print

Some networks need a memo or tag along with the address, mostly for exchange deposits. The casino's cashier shows whether one is required. A missing memo can leave the funds on a pooled address where only support can match them. Read the instructions on the deposit screen line by line before you press send.
