Ethereum at a casino: slots, not block intervals
Since the move to proof of stake, Ethereum divides time into slots of 12 seconds, and 32 slots make an epoch. That is how ethereum.org describes it. For you it means a transaction can be picked up in the next slot rather than after a 10-minute interval as on Bitcoin. By arithmetic, an epoch lasts 32 x 12 seconds, which is 384 seconds or 6.4 minutes.
How many confirmations a casino requires is its own rule. Ask the cashier rather than relying on rules of thumb.
Gas: where the Ethereum fee comes from
According to ethereum.org, fee = gas used x (base fee + priority fee). A simple ETH transfer uses 21,000 units of gas. The protocol sets the base fee and burns it; the tip goes to the validator. The documentation's example is 21,000 x (10 + 2) gwei = 252,000 gwei, or 0.000252 ETH. That is a worked example, not a current fee.
The price per unit of gas moves with demand. Your wallet shows the current estimate before you send. Token transfers such as USDT over Ethereum generally use more gas than a plain ETH transfer; we give no number because the documentation does not fix one.

When does Ethereum make sense?
Because the fee depends on gas used, not on the amount sent, it weighs more on small deposits. RooRoll's minimum deposit is €20, so look at the fee your wallet shows and compare it to the amount. We cannot derive a price advantage over other networks from this, because load changes all the time. If you move small amounts often, put the networks side by side in our fees guide.
Ethereum and the crypto bonus
RooRoll names Ethereum as a crypto option. The crypto welcome bonus of 200% up to $3,000 is stated in USDT. We cannot see anywhere whether an Ethereum deposit counts or is converted; the bonus terms at RooRoll settle it. Beside it sits the standard offer of 100% up to €500 with 200 free spins.
Layer 1 and other networks
Ethereum is a base network (layer 1). Other networks built on it have their own addresses and fees, and an address often looks identical. Send only over the network the cashier names. The casino can only credit payments that arrive on the network it asks for.
Watch the network when you send. An ETH address only works on Ethereum; other networks may display the same address, but the money will not arrive.

Ethereum casino questions
How fast is an Ethereum deposit?
A slot lasts 12 seconds. How long until it is credited depends on the confirmations the casino requires.
Why does the Ethereum fee change?
The base fee is tied to demand and the tip varies per transaction.
What is a gwei?
A subunit of ETH in which gas prices are quoted.
Can I deposit USDT over Ethereum?
Many casinos allow it. Which networks RooRoll offers for USDT shows in its cashier; we do not confirm it.
