Crypto fees compared: six networks, six models

Network fees follow no single rule: Bitcoin charges by data size, Ethereum by gas, Solana per signature. Here are the models side by side, with sources and without invented dollar amounts. Disclosure: KryptoTresen earns a commission when you sign up at partner casinos such as RooRoll through our links. It costs you nothing extra.

Why there are no dollar prices in the table

Network fees are paid in the coin's own unit. Their dollar value depends on the price and the load and changes by the minute. A dollar figure in a table would be wrong tomorrow, so we show how the fee is calculated instead. Your wallet shows the current amount before you send.

Rule of thumb: what a flat fee means for a small deposit

KryptoTresenUpdated:
Plain percentages to illustrate the effect of a flat fee, not a fee quote for any network.

The three cost lines

Total cost = network fee on the deposit + any exchange swap cost + network fee on the withdrawal. For coins RooRoll names (USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum) the swap drops out if you already hold the coin. For Solana, Litecoin or Dogecoin it comes in, because we cannot confirm them at RooRoll. Keep the €20 minimum deposit in mind and make sure the amount that arrives after fees meets it.

How to read the table

"Pace" tells you how often the network forms blocks or slots, not how fast your transaction is guaranteed to go through. A low-fee transaction can wait a long time on a busy network; a slow pace does not matter if you are not in a hurry. "Fee model" shows what the price depends on: data size for Bitcoin and Litecoin, gas use for Ethereum, signatures for Solana.

USDT has no figure of its own because the fee follows the chosen network. Tether lists many, including Ethereum, Tron, Solana and Ton. The same USDT amount can cost very different sums depending on the route; you see that in your wallet, not in a flat table.

How to compare before you send

  1. Open the wallet estimateLook at fee and expected delay.
  2. Turn the fee into a percentageDivide the fee by the deposit; the table above helps.
  3. Compare networks for USDTCheck which networks the cashier offers.
  4. Send a test amountSmall first, then the rest.

Cutting fees without taking risks

Three measures work almost everywhere: take your time and pick a lower fee tier if the wallet offers several; combine amounts instead of sending small sums often; and check which network the cashier offers for each coin. We would not push the fee to the minimum if it leaves the transaction hanging. Then you wait, and you may pay again to replace it.

Sources and retrieval date

We retrieved every network figure on this page on 5 November 2026 from the sources below. We do not quote network fees in Canadian dollars because they move with the coin price and network load.

Fee questions

Which coin has the lowest fees?

There is no blanket answer; fees depend on load and price.

Who receives the network fee?

Miners or validators, not the casino.

Why does Ethereum cost more some days?

The base fee is tied to demand.

Does RooRoll charge for crypto?

That is in RooRoll's payment terms; we state nothing on it.
