Dogecoin: pace and fee
The Dogecoin Core source sets the target block spacing at 60 seconds, so one minute. The developers also publish a Fee Recommendation: 0.01 DOGE per kilobyte of transaction size. Since version 1.14.5 fees are calculated on the exact size; the developers' example is a 192-byte transaction, which pays 0.01 / 1000 x 192 = 0.00192 DOGE. A dust limit of 0.01 DOGE also applies; amounts below it are discarded.
These are wallet defaults and recommendations, not guarantees. What a transaction costs in Canadian dollars depends on the DOGE price, so we give no dollar figure.

What we know and what we do not
RooRoll names USDT, Bitcoin and Ethereum as crypto options. Dogecoin is not on that list, so we cannot promise you a DOGE deposit. If you hold DOGE, you can swap on an exchange, with trading and withdrawal fees. As a meme coin, Dogecoin swings hard: the rate can differ visibly between your decision and the trade. Build in a cushion.
As with every coin, a DOGE address should only ever be used for DOGE. Never send coins to an address on the wrong network.

Dogecoin at a glance
Pros
- Short block spacing of one minute
- Developers publish a clear fee recommendation
Cons
- Not confirmed at RooRoll
- Strong price swings
- Dust limit discards tiny amounts
Meme coin, real arithmetic
Dogecoin started as a joke and is now a network with its own developer community. For casino planning, though, a coin with big price swings is an arithmetic risk. If you swap $100 into DOGE and want to cash out two days later, the value can differ noticeably in either direction. That makes DOGE a poor candidate when you want to know your stake exactly. Swap shortly before you deposit, not weeks ahead.

Sources and retrieval date
We retrieved every network figure on this page on 5 November 2026 from the sources below. We do not quote network fees in Canadian dollars because they move with the coin price and network load.
Dust, minimums and the €20 floor
The dust limit of 0.01 DOGE barely matters for casino deposits, because you send far larger amounts. It matters when you shuffle small leftovers around: every move costs a fee, and a remainder below the limit stays stuck. Send once in a bundle instead of several times in small pieces.
Also note that exchanges set their own withdrawal minimums, which can be higher than the dust limit. Check them before you plan a swap-and-send route for a €20 deposit.
